This page explains what data we receive when you use this website or contact us, why we need it, and how you can control it.

1. Who processes the data

2. What data we receive

Data you send us yourself: name, company, phone, messenger, email, route, cargo description, weight, volume and dates.
Data in transport documents: contracts, orders, CMR, invoices and the contacts of responsible persons.
Technical website data: IP address, browser type and cookies collected by Wix, the platform this website runs on.

3. Why we use the data

To answer your request and quote a rate.
To conclude and perform the transport contract, including documents for borders and customs.
For payments, accounting and tax records.
To run and protect the website.

Legal grounds: your consent when you send a request; concluding and performing a contract; legal obligations; our legitimate interest in running the website.

4. Who we share the data with

Only those we need to carry out the shipment: our drivers, partner carriers, customs brokers, border and customs authorities on the route, and banks. Data also passes through the services we use: Wix (website), Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics (statistics), WhatsApp, Telegram and our email provider. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

Our shipments are international, so data may be transferred to countries on the route, including outside Georgia.

5. How long we keep the data

Requests that did not lead to a shipment are kept for up to one year. Documents for completed shipments are kept for the periods required by law for accounting and tax purposes.

6. Cookies

The website runs on Wix, which uses cookies needed for the site to work. For visit statistics we use Yandex Metrica (including Webvisor, which records actions on pages without passwords or payment data) and Google Analytics. They use cookies and collect anonymised data: pages viewed, traffic source, device, approximate location and clicks on contact buttons. We use this data only to improve the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent. Write to info@westendlogistics.net and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version and its date are always on this page.
